What We Do

Menstrual Hygiene
Management

MHM involves the hygiene practices women and girls use during menstruation, which is crucial for health, hygiene, and dignity. P.A.S.H.I empowers people to additionally manage their periods safely, comfortably, and without stigma.

Life Skills & Reproductive Health Education

In many communities, women and girls lack menstrual hygiene information. PASHI addresses this by educating them about effective period management resources.

Elders as Hands on Teachers

P.A.S.H.I is guided by elders, who teach community members about menstrual health management and how to make reusable pads. P.A.S.H.I also supports Birthing Kits and Unsheltered initiatives.

Men as Supporters

P.A.S.H.I encourages males to support girls and women by learning about menstruation, to participate in menstrual hygiene management workshops and to make reusable Menstrual items with us.

WHO WE ARE

P.A.S.H.I's mission is to make and donate reusable menstrual pads and carry pouches that are manufactured in our eco-friendly workshop, under the guidance of elders as a resource. We donate our reusable  menstrual pads and carry pouches for free to adolescent girls and women in need Nationally and Internationally.

As a Pan-African Sisterhood Health Initiative, we aim to educate others about the importance of menstrual hygiene management, reproductive health, and life skills. Weekly, we work to lessen the plight of school aged girls missing school and other activities because they cannot afford disposable menstrual hygiene products.
